Just FYI:
I'm (partially) to blame for c-ares being used in the development version of
Wireshark. Indeed there was some discussion, but from the few alternatives I
suggested this one came out on top easily. So, Gerald Combs made the bold move
and simply replaced ADNS with c-ares.
